Guidelines for Research Paper Submissions
Authors are required to format their research papers according to the structure outlined
below. This standardized format ensures consistency and facilitates a smooth review and
publication process.
Title of the Paper
 The title should be in UPPERCASE, bold, and centered.
 Avoid underlining or using italics in the title.
Example:

Authors’ Names and Affiliations

 List all authors’ names in the format: Surname, Initial(s).
 Use superscript numbers to indicate institutional affiliations.
 Place commas between names and use “and” before the last author.
 Align the names to the center.
Example:
Tochukwu, I. 1 , Ozumba, E. 1 , Chukwujekwu, Emma D. 1 , Ikenna, Dike. 2 , and Ezinna, Peter

Institutional Affiliations
 List institutional affiliations corresponding to the superscript numbers.
 Use Arabic numerals (e.g., ¹, ²) to identify institutions.
 Each affiliation should begin on a new line.

Abstract (250 words)
 Begin the abstract on a new line titled “Abstract” in bold.
 The abstract should be a concise summary of the paper, ideally between 150–250
words.
 Do not indent the first line. Use single spacing.

Methodology
Tables
Please provide tables as editable text rather than images. Use tables when data cannot
be clearly explained in narrative form, when presenting numerous numerical values, or
when the tabular format better illustrates relationships among data. Tables should
enhance the information in the text and figures, not repeat it. Number all tables using
Arabic numerals, and place the table headings above each table, centered. Ensure that
tables are embedded within the main text and not submitted as separate files.
Figures
Figures should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and placed within the
text close to their first reference. They should not be included within tables (e.g., Figure

1). Line drawings must be high-quality scans or original electronic files; low-resolution
scans are not acceptable.
