Must-Read Guidelines
Please review these instructions and guidelines for publication in the University of Nigeria
Maritime Studies and Research Journal.
 Submissions must be original, unpublished full manuscripts that are not under
review by any other journal.
 Authors must ensure their submissions do not infringe on third-party copyright.
 Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). PDFs will
not be accepted.
 Text must adhere to the APA 7th edition referencing style (see APA 7th Edition
Guide) https://www.scribbr.com/category/apa-style/ or OSCOLA footnoting
referencing style (for law-related papers).
 Any graphic images should be in JPEG, PNG, or BMP format.
 Every figure, table, and scheme must be properly referenced within the text.
 All papers will undergo blind peer review. The editorial board reserves the right to
make necessary edits before publication.
